Rep. Randy Forbes of Virginia Insults the Constitution and American Freedom on the House Floor

Posted on June 21 2008 by Congressional Aid

Just before he voted on June 20, 2008 for H.R. 6304, legislation that guts the Fourth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States, Republican Representative Randy Forbes of Virginia took to the floor of the House to identify the real problem with America. What, pray tell, is the real problem with America? Could it [...]

Robert Aderholt is Too Extreme for Congress

Posted on May 25 2008 by Congress Watcher

What is Alabama’s Congressman Robert Aderholt working on? Making it harder to get married. With all the real difficulties people in his home district are going through, Representative Aderholt has just signed on to a proposed constitutional amendment that would make it more difficult for people to get married.

Who Is For Constitutional Amendment To Reduce Marriage Rights?

Posted on May 23 2008 by Congress Watcher

When Congressman Broun’s amendment to forbids some Americans from getting married, it undermines the 14th amendment to the Constitution. Congressman Broun’s constitutional amendment says that equality in America is only for some people. Within Congressman Broun’s new vision for America, equality will be traded in for inequality. Paul Broun’s constitutional amendment is anti-equality, and it’s anti-marriage.

Superficiality, Thy Name is Steve King

Posted on May 14 2008 by Congress Watcher

As everyone knows, the economy of the United States is in serious trouble. Inflation of the essentials for life, food and energy, is skyrocketing. At the same time, unemployment is up, and home foreclosures are at record-breaking levels. So, what big idea does Congressman Steve King hav

Posted on May 6 2008 by Congress Watcher

Bob Latta is a new Congressman, but he’s already stuck in the past, relying on waste and inefficiency. On Election Day in November, Bob Latta ought not to be given the chance to continue this policy of dirty coal waste.

Posted on May 2 2008 by Congress Watcher

Vito Fossella has committed worse offenses – such as spreading false propaganda about torture at Guantanamo Bay. Vito Fossella brought the news back to American voters that prisoners at Guantanamo were treated very well – after he took a tour of the prison pre-arranged, by the Bush White House, and escorted by armed guards who didn’t allow him to actually talk to any of the prisoners. There was plenty of notice for the Guantanamo Bay prison to clean up and prepare a good show for Fossella, of course. The Bush White House used Congressman Fossella as a chump, and Fossella seemed either unaware or unbothered by that.

Republicans: Virginia is For Racist Nicknames

Posted on August 15 2006 by Congress Watcher

This whole New South thing is a load of garbage when it comes to Virginia Republicans. They’re still pulling the old racist bull. They’ll come up with any excuse to forgive the fact that Republican Senator George Allen called a man a monkey just because he wasn’t of European ancestry.
