Democrats may have the majority of seats in the Senate, but the Republicans still appear to have the control. The Democratic-Republican distinction appears not to have anything near the meaning as the progressive-regressive split, and the progressives are clearly in the minority.
The following are the United States Senators who voted for this betrayal of the Constitution. 20 of these 69 senators are Democrats. Without the Democrats helping out, the Republicans couldn’t have gotten the FISA Amendments Act passed. Which ones are the Republicans, and which ones are the Democrats? You figure it out.
