The Democrats on the Super Committee are slightly more liberal than the Republicans are conservative, but the difference is only 3 percentage points – not a very significant amount. The Republican and Democratic teams alike included only one of their strongest ideologues, tending toward politicians in the middle range of their parties’ principles.

The federal government has spent approximately one and a half billion dollars funding abstinence-only sex education programs without seeing any positive results. At a time when programs that have been proven effective, such as Head Start and the WIC nutritional program, are being cut, the failed abstinence-only experiment should not be spared.

Given that the government of Pakistan has nuclear weapons on missiles that are aimed at an American ally, and the Taliban are growing closer to toppling the Pakistani government, I don’t understand why the cash-strapped U.S. government ought to provide billions of dollars with no strings attached.

John Kerry Promotes Clean Coal Hype

The Kerry energy bill allows utility companies to create new fees that customers will need to pay – 10 billion dollars in fees. Those extra charges on our utility bills will go to pay for a corporation with the goal of demonstrating that carbon sequestration technologies could work.
