House Preparing Unconstitutional Recognition of Billy Graham

The problem is in the way that this resolution provides the official recognition and sanction of Congress for Billy Graham’s religious practice and promotion of Christianity. Congress has no place passing legislation respecting that kind of activity. Americans ought to judge for themselves whether one religion is worthwhile, not have Congress lecture them on the subject.

To vote for this bill was to insult the Constitution of the United States of America, and in doing so, to insult the USA itself. A vote in favor of this bill is a betrayal of the Oath of Office every member of Congress has taken. It is unpatriotic, and a grave breach of trust.

Support Ed Fallon for Congress in Iowa, Not Leonard Boswell

Leonard Boswell has helped George W. Bush create a royal mess in Iraq, throwing away trillions of American dollars and thousands of American lives as if they were garbage. In 2002, Representative Boswell voted yes on rushing to war in Iraq.

Status of the Equal Rights Amendment

You are probably not aware of it, but the Equal Rights Amendment did not die back in the 1980s. It has been brought back to the House of Representatives and to the Senate.
Both the Senate and House versions of the proposed constitutional amendment state that:
“Equality of rights under the law shall not be denied [...]
