Richard Grayson Campaigns For Senate With Unorthodox Approach Of Not Caring

Arizona Green Party activist Richard Grayson has announced that he will run for U.S. Senate this year. What’s not immediately apparent is why anyone would want to vote for Grayson.

Grayson himself has said that he doesn’t really care if he gets anyone’s votes or not – because many people in Arizona are idiots.

During the 2010 election, Grayson wrote, “Most of you who live in Arizona’s Sixth Congressional District — the East Valley cities of Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert, Apache Junction and Queen Creek — are ignorant morons. That’s why I don’t give a fuck if anyone votes for me or not. That gives me the freedom politician candidates don’t have. I can say what I feel and do what I think is right without having to care about whether the unwashed masses agree. Maybe I’ll get 100 votes or so, votes for which I’m grateful, but in the end, it doesn’t matter.”
