51 New House Caucuses Organized in Early March 2011 (Web Sites and Members Listed Where Available)

Posted on March 21 2011 by Congressional Aid

In the U.S. House of Representatives, members form voluntary associations that are officially called Congressional Member Organizations and unofficially referred to as caucuses. These caucuses organize around identity or interest in order to pursue policy, signal identification, or boost a member’s public bona fides in some manner. When these caucuses are formed, members of the House are required to register them with the Committee on House Administration.

Our previous list of caucuses formed in the early days of the 112th Congress can be found here. Below are the newest Congressional Member Organizations, a crop of 51 recognized by the House Administration Committee since February 15, 2011. As part of an effort to increase the transparency of these CMOs, we have done our best to locate websites and membership lists for each caucus. We also note the caucuses for which websites and membership are unavailable, making their existence and activities opaque to the American public.

Making any cut’s in the (existing) Social Security/Medicare program, without FIRST reducing/eliminating oil/gas subsidies, would be an ABOMINABLE act of selfish greed in support of the KOCH (brother’s) /Republican ruling, selfish, self-centered EMPIRE.

Hello, thanks for the link but I’m not a member of any OSCE mission or any government official at all.

I’m just an independent freelance writer who has a blog about the OSCE and tried to pull this information together, it’s not very public.
