New York State Green Party Looking To Succeed Christopher Lee
The political dissolution of Congressman Christopher Lee is now infamous. What’s less known is what will happen next for the residents of New York’s 26th congressional district.
Looking to fill the void left by Lee’s shirtless scandal is the Green Party of New York State. The party sent out a message this week soliciting suggestions for a Green candidate to run in the special election to fill the Lee’s seat in the U.S. House of Representatives.
“If you think you might interested or might know of another Green who you would reccomend as a candidate please contact either Eric Jones (GPNYS Treasurer) at jazzyjones@hotmail.com or Peter LaVenia (GPNYS Co-Chair) at mactyler42@yahoo.com,” the message suggested.

This is a real opportunity for the Green Party to enter a high-profile debate, even if the Green Party candidate does not win.
