Fact: Federal Election Commission independent expenditure data (accessed October 22, 2010) show that The 60 Plus Association has spent $6,031,178 to fund 86 expenditures in the 2010 U.S. congressional elections. Every one of those expenditures was used for a mailing or a television advertisement opposing the election of a Democratic congressional candidate. Not one expenditure has been made by The 60 Plus Association to support a Republican congressional candidate.
