The confirmation to seat Elena Kagan on the Supreme Court of the United States finally came this week. It was not a party line vote.
Four Republicans crossed the aisle to vote in favor of Kagan: Richard Lugar, Lindsey Graham, Susan Collins and Olympia Snowe.
One Democrat voted with the majority of Republicans, against his own party’s President: Ben Nelson voted against the confirmation of Elena Kagan.
Ben Nelson should run as a Republican, he definitely is not a Democrat. I suppose that is the only way he gets noticed.
