Arcuri’s Newest Lobbyist Money
U.S. Representative Mike Arcuri has a particularly strong record… of relying on corporate money to support his campaign efforts. New information about campaign donations to Arcuri made since the beginning of this year became available at the end of last week. That information includes data about money given to Arcuri by the following lobbyists:
- Eric Robins works as a lobbyist for Williams and Jensen. He represents a combination of clients from the medical industry and the finance industry, which include the Coalition of Air Medical Companies, the Air Medical Operators Association, the Janus Capital Group, the Chicago Deferred Exchange Corporation, the Security Traders Association, and Visa – the credit card company.
- Jeffrey Werner, a lobbyist who works exclusively for Mercedes-Benz.
- William Golden is a lobbyist occupying the position of Vice President of Government Relations at ACS Federal Solutions.
- Robert Gray is a lobbyist who used to work as Executive Study Director, but now is paid to represent private interests on agricultural issues.
Mike Arcuri also took money from Wiley Rein LLP, a federally-registered lobbying firm that had clients in the transportation industry, the medical industry, publishing and communications, and insurance. Additional money came from Kirk Nahra and Dorthula Powell Woodson, both partners at Wiley Rein.
Another lobbyist firm, Kelley, Drye and Warren, set up a political action committee for itself, and gave money from that PAC to Arcuri’s re-election campaign. Kelley, Drye and Warren represents a wide range of clients, including companies from the oil industry, the steel industry, and pharmaceuticals corporations.
