Joe Wilson Shout Propels Rob Miller Forward
Joe Wilson became more widely known as a member of Congress last night than he has been ever before in his political life, but it might not be to his benefit.
Representative Wilson was the person heard shouting “You lie!” during President Obama’s speech on health care in front of a joint session of Congress.
The biggest beneficiary of Wilson’s outburst may be his rival in the upcoming 2010 election: Rob Miller. In a special fundraising site set up in response to Wilson’s shouting at Obama, Miller’s campaign has taken in $42,780 in donations so far. 700 dollars of that has been donated in the last 30 minutes alone – early in the morning.
My money is on Joe Wilson. I don’t live any where Near SC. But I will send a check tomorrow.
