Eric Cantor Working… Eventually

Posted on May 21 2009 by Congress Watcher

Congressman Eric Cantor, who holds the seat for the seventh district in Virginia, isn’t afraid to toot his own horn. Right in the middle of his official congressional web site is a big photograph, not of a constituent, but of Eric Cantor himself, right next to the words, Working for America.

Eric Cantor, working for America? I looked for the evidence. Right below that photograph are the headlines of the latest activity by Eric Cantor’s office – and the latest item is from way back in the middle of February.

I particularly enjoy Cantor’s headline declaring that the Democratic budget is “The Old Way of Doing Things”.

Perhaps there was somewhere else on Eric Cantor’s congressional web site with more up to date information. I looked around, and I found The Whip Blog, Eric Cantor’s blog about all the many things he’s doing to revitalize the Republican Party.

When I clicked on the link to read The Whip Blog, however, nothing came up but a notice that the blog no longer exists: “Sorry, we couldn’t find republicanwhip.gov. No sponsored links found. No web results found.”

Just what is Eric Cantor doing in that big office of his, anyway?

Most of Eric’s time is not spent in his district of Virginia it’s in Beverly Hills, Aspen, and Isreal where he collects his millions to perpetuate his fraud on the voters of Virginia. He votes against farm bills and in return he gets votes from farmers in Virginia, he votes against teachers and in return he gets votes from teachers, he votes against the unemployes and he gets votes from the unemployed. He votes for Goldman Sachs and Hallburton but dosn’t get their votes only their money. He votes for Billions from the American taxpayer for Isreal but dosn’t get their votes. He votes against 98% of his constituents and keeps getting elected to congress. If you can figure it out please let me know what the hell is going on in the 7th district of Virginia; I would love to know how a career politician in Virginia who could do so little for so many and so much for so few keeps getting elected. If their is a compassionate GOD and a future for my fellow Virginians, please let him lose the election in 2010. I would rather vote for a dog than someone like Eric Cantor.
