These people are politicians as well as ideologues, and hesitate more before they support extreme legislation like this if they get contacted by upset constituents. Part of why I'm writing these articles is indeed to mobilize people for elections, giving people information to use in redefining the campaigns from a progressive perspective. Indeed, Bilbray has got to go. Two of my favorite kooks are Michelle Bachmann and Paul Broun. Franklin, I understand your perspective, but I don’t agree. These people are politicians as well as ideologues, and hesitate more before they support extreme legislation like this if they get contacted by upset constituents.

Part of why I’m writing these articles is indeed to mobilize people for elections, giving people information to use in redefining the campaigns from a progressive perspective.

My suggestion is to save your breath and help their opponents so that we can rid them from the next Congress. My favorite-be-gone is Brian Bilbray of California's 50th CD (San Diego North County). I'm sure you have other favorites in mind. Let's mobilze, organize, and participate in politics the American way by defeating them at the polls.
