Michelle Bachmann Uses Taxes To Fight Taxes?
A tip of the hat this morning to blogger Michael Fransen, who brings us more wacky news from the always far-out congressional representative from Minnesota, Michelle Bachmann.
It seems that Representative Bachmann is crusading against taxes, and using taxpayers’ money to do so. Michael Fransen, unlucky enough to be one of Bachmann’s constituents, got a piece of unsolicited mail from Bachmann’s congressional office. The mailing went on and on and on about how bad taxes are, but Michael Fransen noticed that the mailing contained the following message:
“This mailing was prepared, published and mailed at taxpayer expense.”
If Michelle Bachmann is so strongly against taxes, how come she is using taxes to pay for her complaints about how bad taxes are? It seems that Michelle Bachmann likes taxes a lot – just so long as she’ll get to use them for her own personal benefit, to help her get re-elected.
Let’s not just sigh and shrug our shoulders and leave the matter there. There are two Democrats right now competing for the honor of running against Michelle Bachmann for Congress in the autumn. Their names are Bob Olson and El Tinklenberg. Look at these two candidates, choose the one that looks best to you, and give that candidate your support

Not only does Michele Bachmann use taxpayer funds to promote herself–the tax-hating nutjob uses more tax dollars to promote herself than anyone else in the Minnesota congressional delegation:
