A couple weeks ago, I wrote about what may be a new Republican corruption scandal emerging in New York State. Cooperstown Republican influence peddler Walter Rich is under investigation by the New York State lobbying commission, under suspicion of various forms of corruption, possibly involving Republican politicians like congressman Sherwood Boehlert, who represents Rich’s district in the House of Representatives.
Now, Walter Rich’s former railroad chief of police, David Butler, has released what promises to be a tell-all book about Walter Rich’s corruption. Entitled Railroaded in Cooperstown, the book claims to detail criminal coverups, political corruption, illegal lobbying techniques and even drug trafficking centering around Walter Rich’s mansion.
I’ll be getting myself a copy, and will let you know what I find in those pages.
